YEELEN
Terms and Conditions
These terms govern the professional website creation, publishing, hosting and management services provided under the Yeelen name.
1. The service
Yeelen provides personalized professional website design, development, configuration, publishing, hosting and management services for small businesses, professionals, independent workers and, where accepted, individual consumers.
The scope of each project is determined by the information published on our website and by any quote, email or written agreement we confirm with you. New features or work outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately.
2. Business and consumer clients
You may purchase Yeelen for a business or professional activity or, where we accept it, as an individual consumer. If you purchase as a consumer, these terms do not remove any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country.
We may ask for your name or business name, country, activity, tax details and other information reasonably needed to prepare the service, issue invoices or determine the correct commercial terms.
3. Regional pricing
Yeelen may offer different prices by region. Automatic location detection is used only to suggest the price we believe applies and may be incorrect.
For business or professional clients, the region is based on the country where the activity for which the website is purchased mainly operates. For individual consumers, it is based on the country of habitual residence. You must provide accurate information if the region shown is not correct.
The final price is the price we confirm before you purchase the service. Prices are shown in USD unless we expressly state another currency.
4. What is included
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, the service may include:
- creation and adaptation of a website for your activity;
- a version optimized for phones and computers;
- basic SEO setup to help search engines understand the page;
- technical hosting during the purchased service period;
- contact, maps, reviews, QR or payment links where useful;
- up to the number of simple updates stated in the purchased plan.
Simple updates normally include changes to text, prices, photos, links, hours and contact details. Redesigns, complex new sections, integrations, automations or new features may require an additional quote.
5. Your information and responsibilities
You must provide reasonably complete and accurate information about your business, activity, services, prices, hours, location and contact methods. You are responsible for reviewing and approving the commercial information we publish on your behalf.
By sending us text, photographs, logos, reviews, videos or other materials, you confirm that you can lawfully use them and authorize us to include them on your page. You must not send illegal, misleading or infringing content or material that violates third-party rights.
6. Timing and cooperation
Any delivery date is an estimate unless we expressly agree to a binding deadline. Work may pause while we wait for information, materials, approvals or responses from you.
Once we send you a version for review, you are responsible for telling us about corrections or changes you want us to make.
7. Domains and hosting
If you use an address under yeelen.page, that address depends on Yeelen continuing to provide hosting. If you use your own domain, we recommend purchasing and keeping the domain in an account in your own name so it remains yours independently of Yeelen.
When you ask us to configure your own domain, we can help connect it to the website. Registration, renewal and third-party service fees are your responsibility unless we say otherwise.
8. Payment, renewal and taxes
Work begins once we have confirmed the scope and price and received any initial payment we agreed. Amounts paid for work already performed are non-refundable except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
Annual renewal is not automatic unless we expressly agree otherwise with you. Before a renewal we may tell you the current price and conditions. If a hosting or management period ends and is not renewed, we may remove the page from our servers after reasonable notice.
Taxes are handled according to applicable law. If we are legally required to collect a tax on a particular transaction, we will tell you before payment. Business clients must provide accurate tax information where it is required for invoicing or tax treatment.
9. Consumer withdrawal rights
If you purchase as a consumer and applicable law gives you a cancellation or withdrawal right, that right remains in place. For example, certain European Union consumers who buy services at a distance generally have 14 days to withdraw from the contract.
If you expressly ask us to begin work before a statutory withdrawal period ends and later withdraw, we may charge a proportionate amount for the service actually performed where the law allows it. Once a service has been fully performed with the express consent and acknowledgements required by law, the withdrawal right may cease to apply.
Important: where the law requires separate express consent to begin work during a withdrawal period, we will ask for it separately. Accepting these terms alone is not intended to replace any specific consent required by law.
10. Cancellations and refunds
If you cancel before we begin work, we may refund amounts paid, less non-recoverable costs where legally permitted. If work has already started, we may charge for work actually performed and committed costs, subject to mandatory consumer rights.
If Yeelen cancels a project for reasons not caused by you before completing the agreed work, we will refund the part attributable to work not performed.
11. Intellectual property
You keep the rights to original content you provide, including your business name, logo, photographs and your own text.
Unless mandatory law or a separate written agreement requires otherwise, Yeelen retains the rights to its reusable templates, generic components, tools, methods, design systems and shared code. Your purchase gives you the right to use the completed website for your own activity while the website is made available to you under the agreed service.
The service does not include delivery of source code, repository access, editable design files, reusable Yeelen components or a standalone export of the website unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing or applicable law requires it.
12. Third-party services
Some pages may link to or depend on third-party services such as WhatsApp, maps, social networks, payment providers, domain registrars or review platforms. Those services have their own terms, policies and availability, and Yeelen does not control their decisions, outages or changes.
13. SEO, results and availability
We structure the page to be technically clear, fast and understandable to search engines, but we do not guarantee a particular Google position, number of visitors, sales, bookings, enquiries or other commercial result.
We aim to keep hosting reliably available, but we do not provide a service-level agreement or guarantee uninterrupted operation. Interruptions may occur because of maintenance, external providers, technical incidents or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
14. Suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate a service for non-payment, illegal use, fraud, abuse, security risk, infringement of third-party rights or a serious breach of these terms. Where reasonably possible, we will give you notice and an opportunity to fix the issue before removing the page.
15. If Yeelen stops operating
Yeelen may permanently discontinue all or part of its services. If this happens, hosting and management services may end and addresses hosted under yeelen.page may stop working.
We will provide any notice, refund, return of personal data or other remedy that is required by applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise or we separately agree in writing, discontinuation of Yeelen does not require us to provide source code, website files, an exportable copy of the website, migration services, continued hosting or technical assistance for moving the website to another provider.
If you use your own domain and it is registered in your own account, ownership and control of that domain remain with you.
16. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Yeelen is not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, third-party decisions, changes by search engines or social networks, failures of external services, or inaccurate content supplied or approved by the client.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in our service, applicable law or how we operate. The version that applies to a project is the version you accepted when you purchased, unless a later change is required by law or separately agreed with you.
18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Mexico. If you purchase as a consumer, this choice is not intended to deprive you of mandatory protections available in your country of residence or any forum that applicable law allows you to use.
19. Contact
For questions, cancellations or anything concerning these terms, email [email protected].
Before purchase, we can provide the legal and tax information reasonably required for the transaction and applicable invoicing.
